
Marcia Kuhlman
Electives - Choir
Mrs. Marcia Kuhlman’s professional work as a conductor and teacher spans a wide variety of ages and abilities including high school, collegiate, and community ensembles. She holds a Bachelor of Music in Choral Music Education from Oakland University and a Masters of Music in Choral Conducting from Michigan State University. Her nine years of teaching experience include Cowley College in Kansas, Grand Junction High School in Colorado, and Eaton Rapids High School in Michigan, as well as maintaining an active private studio for over sixteen years. Her accolades include work with the American Choral Director’s Association, major symphonies, emerging composers, and performances at acclaimed locations such as Lincoln Center in NYC. Her passion for music extends into her own education and travel. She enjoys an active outdoor lifestyle with her dogs Jorgen & Zoey and her husband James. Mrs. Kuhlman is most excited to meet the talented students at RFHS and listen to the amazing music we can make together this year!
