Course Catalog and AP Offerings

Here you'll find the RFHS Course Catalog (The Rambler) along with information about the AP Courses we offer.

AP Offerings

Roaring Fork offers Advanced Placement courses to students who meet academic requirements for course offerings. AP courses are taught at a college level and thus it is not recommended that students consider taking these courses unless they are ready. There is no limit on how many AP classes juniors and seniors can take. Sophomores and freshmen are encouraged to limit to one or two AP classes. Students may be awarded college credit for AP Courses upon completion of the three to four hour AP Exam in May. Qualifying scores for college credit vary by institution and range from a 3 to a 5. Not all AP classes are offered every year. AP classes offered at RFHS include:

Studio Art, English Language and Composition, English Literature and Composition, Human Geography, Psychology, United States Government and Politics, United States History, World History, Calculus AB, Computer Science Principles, Statistics, Biology, Environmental Science, Physics 1, Spanish Language and Culture.
